Dwight “General” Manfredi: I don’t really go to church
The opening credits show various photographic and drawn views and Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York landscape: Sioux Chief Touch the Clouds statue in the military jacket with a hood and a bone necklace (breastplate) superimposed on the top of the Brooklyn Bridge. Statue of the Golden Drill superimposed on the West Gate Arch of Highway 66.
Manhattan’s Main Avenue
In the Manhattan area of New York, there are several numbered “Avenues” that intersect with streets with smaller numbers. Appeared on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #45.7 (2022).
Cute and relatively deep characters, believable plot and tolerable pace – these are the driving forces of this series
Stallone is good as the main character, but I really like Andrea Savage and her character, very good acting. I really appreciate that Stallone is not trying to look younger when his character Dwight honestly mentions his age and how it might affect his relationship with a younger woman.
The cinematography and music are nothing special, they are good enough to make the show interesting, but they don’t add any value or stand out
In my review, the show looks pretty average, but I’m giving it an 8/10 because it’s a solid show, not a masterpiece of television or cinema or a show of strength.
