Line of Events
It follows three very different families who compete to own the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show rated as low as it is, but it made more sense when I saw the many reviews explaining how they didn’t make it past the first episode.
I really like the cast and everyone’s performances
The show is a mysterious slow burn that may not be for everyone. I personally found it funny and entertaining, given the tone I like from Liz Feldman.
All the various characters have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos that gradually, though not completely, unravels
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first due to my bias (I couldn’t tell him from Everybody Loves Raymond for the life of me), but that wore off pretty quickly. By the last episode, I was pretty invested in the story, despite the fact that I solved the main plot very early on.
I’m not mad about it, though
I’d love to see more of this show, and I really hope they get a second season. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly — here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
