The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago housed housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s, with only paved streets and walkways, and a fake town built on top of them.
