Growing up in the Amazon rainforest gave Autumn the rarest of friendships – she discovers a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope and venture into the unknown of New York City, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest to be with her friend. At age 14 and after adjusting to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides to return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s lovably awkward biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to dissuade her from this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who want to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
