INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Before installing this repack, make sure you have deleted all your Sims 2 games, including their registry entries, if any on your system
‘ for xp users) folder after deleting your previous game because “EA Games” contains “The Sims 2” folder which consists of cache and mods from your previous game which may cause the game to crash….This folder recreated for this repack when you launch the game for the first time……. DELETE YOUR ANTIVIRUS BEFORE RUNNING ‘Setup.exe’ (IMPORTANT) because the antivirus will mark the ‘setup’ file as a suspicious file, so it can’ t start the installation, or it might complete it, but the uninstallation is the same…(For Avast users: Disable DeepScreen in the antivirus settings)…
It’s like playing 10 games at once( don’t assume it’s frozen) wait and let it load
After you complete the installation, click ‘Specify’, specify the installation directory , , click next and next, select the required software (Direct X [available in Redist folder]), next again, finally “Install” “Mansion and Garden Stuff” loading screen is always working show “Mansion and Garden Stuff” loading screen , since it is the latest expansion, everything is included in it…… The first time you load each world, it will take time to load, please be patient.
Always open the game using “Run as administrator” to avoid crash/save problem
If it still crashes, lower the graphics settings in the options in the game and make sure you meet the system requirements. NOTE: Change ‘Shadows’ from high to either low or medium through the game’s Graphics/Performance settings, otherwise a black square will appear under the sims instead of interior shadows else, read ‘Reolution change.txt’ – text file to fix it…
