Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos.. Colman Domingo’s first leading role.. Boy, I wanted to like this. I’ve enjoyed other things Colman has done, but this is a waste of time. Some really questionable and predictable script choices and, I’m sorry to say, not great acting overall. And poor Colman is wrong here. He’s not that kind of lead. It reminded me of when Tyler Perry tried to play Alex Cross. Except he’s just not believable. As the series went on and (He wasn’t great with the action in Fear the Walking Dead and he’s not here either.) He always blows me away and smells like a vanity project. His mouth hangs open every scene when he’s “thinking”; (meaning he’s not comfortable and concerned with playing “straight” in my opinion). Not everyone gets to be an action star. I’m moving on to the next one. Skip this one.
